Divorce
Have been divorced herself, Ashley intimately understands what her clients face when facing the divorce process, and that it is never where we thought we would end up. She understands the bumpy road of coparenting a child. Whether it is an initial divorce, or post-decree modifications, Ashley's personal experience helps her empathize with clients while guiding them and advocating for the positive resolutions they deserve.

One way I believe I set myself apart in the legal community is my ability to be sensitive and strong. It has gotten back to me that I have a reputation for being somewhat of a “pitbull,” but I see myself as a mother bear for my clients: I will empathize and care deeply about what you are going through, and I am fiercely protective when others threaten my clients' interests.
I am comfortable thinking outside of the box and getting creative with settlement resolutions that give my clients their priorities in a case, though it may not follow the status quo precedent. Every person I serve is unique and has different interests, why would all my case resolutions be the same? My creativity has a chance to shine through again when settlement efforts fail and we must face litigation: I challenge myself to look at the situation from all angles and am comfortable going against the grain when necessary to accomplish my clients’ goals.
Ultimately, in every case where a child is involved, I am inform my advice to my client, be it the child or parent, on what is in their child’s best interest. I am fortunate enough to have participated on panels of attorneys representing families involved in child neglect and abuse cases, wherein I learned invaluable information on the newest research and studies on all parts of a child’s well-being.
I never lose sight that we are serving real people who need real results in a broken and imperfect system, and so I lean into my innovation and empathy to get the necessary results make my clients' lives a little better than they were before they crossed my path.
